Content of the course
- General Maintenance: Covers essential routine and annual maintenance procedures, as well as proper storage practices, to ensure long-term reliability, compliance, and preservation of the vessel.
- Inflatable Tube Systems: Provides the knowledge and practical skills required to maintain, inspect, test, and repair inflatable tubes, including the use of appropriate tools, materials, and valve servicing techniques.
- RIB Systems: Focuses on the maintenance and troubleshooting of key onboard systems, including electrical, fuel, and steering components, as well as structural elements such as tubes, seating, inserts, and sealing.
- Hull & Structure: Introduces basic repair techniques for fibre-glass structures to maintain hull integrity and extend the vesselβs service life.
- Safety Systems: Covers inspection and maintenance procedures of critical safety equipment, including righting systems and lifting or towing gear, to ensure safe and compliant operations.
- Propulsion: Provides routine maintenance procedures for propulsion systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and operational readiness.
